By accessing and using Find a Doctor BC ("the Service," "we," "us," or "our"), you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

We reserve the right to update these terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms. We will indicate the date of the most recent update at the top of this page.

Find a Doctor BC is an online directory that helps British Columbia residents find family doctors and medical clinics. The Service allows patients to search for clinics by location, acceptance status, and other criteria, and allows clinics to create and manage their own listings.

We do not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. The information on this site is for informational purposes only and does not constitute a doctor-patient relationship.

To access certain features — such as saving searches or writing reviews — you may create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.

You agree to provide accurate and current information when creating an account. You must be at least 18 years of age to create an account. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

You may delete your account at any time from your account settings. Upon deletion, your personal data will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

Clinic listings may be created by clinic administrators, claimed from existing entries, or added by our team based on publicly available information. Clinics that register for a paid plan agree to our separate Clinic Listing Agreement.

Clinic administrators are solely responsible for the accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of the information in their listings, including acceptance status, hours, and contact details. Find a Doctor BC does not independently verify all clinic information.

We reserve the right to remove, modify, or decline any listing that we determine, in our sole discretion, violates these terms, is misleading, or is otherwise inappropriate.

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Submit false, misleading, or defamatory information
• Harvest or collect personal information about other users
• Scrape, crawl, or index the Service without our express written permission
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service
• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service
• Post or transmit spam, viruses, or any other malicious code

Users may submit reviews of clinics they have visited. By submitting a review, you represent that your review is based on your genuine first-hand experience and is truthful. You grant Find a Doctor BC a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display, modify, and distribute your review in connection with the Service.

Reviews are subject to moderation. We may remove reviews that are abusive, defamatory, contain personal information, or violate these terms. We do not guarantee the accuracy of any reviews.

All content on this site — including text, graphics, logos, and software — is the property of Find a Doctor BC or its content suppliers and is protected by Canadian copyright law. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our express written permission.

You may print or download individual pages for personal, non-commercial use, provided you retain all copyright notices.

Find a Doctor BC does not provide medical advice. All information on this site is provided for informational purposes only. Nothing on this site should be construed as medical advice or used to diagnose or treat any medical condition.

We do not warrant the accuracy, completeness, or usefulness of any information on the Service. Any reliance you place on such information is strictly at your own risk.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Find a Doctor BC and its officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Service.

In no event shall our total liability to you exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to liability.

The Service may contain links to third-party websites, including clinic websites and external resources. These links are provided for your convenience only. We have no control over the content of those sites and accept no responsibility for them or for any loss or damage that may arise from your use of them.

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these terms by reference. Please review it to understand our practices.

These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of British Columbia.
